Jim Ross comments on Regal’s announcing
William Regal did a nice job for his first outing as the new color commentator on NXT along side Todd Grisham. It’s obvious that WWE is looking at various combinations at the announce table in preparing for the future. Smart move by WWE but everyone has to realize that chemistry takes time and that it may never happen for some broadcast teams. Also, all announce talents need to understand that they have to invest more time on their job away from the actual taping of the programs that they appear on than they do on ‘TV day.’
William Regal is now announcing on NXT
William Regal is now one half of the WWE NXT announce team. Since he’s considered to be one of the best “talkers” in the WWE, I think that he will be a great addition to the announce team and will no doubt continue to impress week after week.

Mark Henry, The Great Khali & Natalya def. Tyson Kidd, William Regal & Melina
Tonight was a bad night to be Tyson Kidd. The former WWE Tag Team Champion joined forces with the rogues gallery of William Regal & Melina to battle the imposing trio of Mark Henry, The Great Khali & Natalya. But the cocky upstart quickly lost the bout for his team when he fell victim to Khali’s destructive Punjabi Plunge. Kidd’s rough night didn’t end there though. The Canadian Superstar was then splashed by Henry, given the Sharpshooter by Natalya, put in William Regal’s Regal Stretch and slapped by Melina. Clearly, Kidd needs a new attitude.

R Truth defeated William Regal
R-Truth and William Regal have practically nothing in common. Truth is a fast, flashy rapper from the American south. Regal is an arrogant, uptight snob from England. The two Superstars couldn’t be more different — except for the fact that both men are talented veterans that know how to win. These ring smarts made for an interesting encounter as Regal attempted to use his brutal, submission-based offense to slow down Truth’s blistering speed and cunning. The British Brawler’s strategy worked for much of the bout until the rapping Superstar pulled off a reversal out of nowhere to score the win. Now that’s what’s up.

Raw Results: Happy Valentine’s Day
Last night Regal made an appearance on The Great Khali’s Kiss Cam. Standing next to a talkative Zac Ryder, he decided to silence him by planting a quick kiss on his cheek, before walking away with a mischievous grin.
Royal Rumble Results
William Regal was entrant number five in Sunday’s Royal Rumble PPV, but was eliminated by Ted Dibiase after four minutes and ten seconds. Unfortunately, WWE.com has no pics of Regal from the PPV.
William Regal to participate in the Royal Rumble tomorrow
William Regal will be appearing in tomorrow’s Royal Rumble PPV. This will be Regal’s first PPV match in quite some time.
Regal previously participated in 2009 Royal Rumble, and made an appearance at the 2010 Royal Rumble during a segment in which he was speared by Edge.
Here’s hoping he has much better luck this year!
Apologies for the lack of updates
I was quite ill, but I will try to be more consistent from now on.
Lance Storm mentions William Regal in blog post
The only point of interest I bothered to see across all of North America was Signal Hill in St. John’s Newfoundland, and the only reason I got to see that was because I was travelling with Edge and he made the call to visit it. We were not the only guys to visit Signal Hill either as we met up with William Regal along the way. Signal hill was the site where the first transatlantic wireless signal was received, on December 12th 1901, as well as the site of the final battle between Britain and France for control of Newfoundland, which was won by the British in 1762. We walked though historic Cabot Tower and stood below the sign post (that shows distances to major cities around the world) over looking the Atlantic ocean joking that despite being in Canada we were actually closer to William Regal’s home town of Black Pool, than mine in Calgary.
